History
While we were expecting our first baby, we found there was no simple source of information for pregnant women telling them whether certain foods were safe to eat or not. There were government advice sites which didn't cover lots of common foods, book publishers with different advice, and and lots of web forums where lots of people gave conflicting or unscientific advice. You could spend hours reading all these, and still not have a clear answer. If you're out at a restaurant this isn't even an option (unless you have very patient co-diners). This is where the idea for Eat 4 2 was born.
